Seriously, though, did anyone else get the "What are you?" question from people when they really meant "What nationality/ethnic background are you?" I mean, you know what they mean, it just sounds funny when they put it that way. It's like they don't even think you're human or something. xD I probably should be offended by it, but it makes me laugh more than anything else.

That doesn't happen to me, I always get people asking if I'm a girl or if I'm a gay guy because I use female characters as the lead characters in my stories.

lol, I've gotten the 'what are you' but it was only because i said something utterly idiotic, even by my standards on my craziest days. I'm French, English, and Scottish, so my violent background towards my innermost self is self explanatory. i have had someone ask me if i was Italian once though... i honestly don't know why...
