*EDIT*: Labeled manga!Ulqui in the first panel and then anime!Ulqui in the 4th. Hopefully, this will clear up any confusion...hopefully.
ZOMG! Two Ulquiorras in one place? It boggles the mind!
BTW, manga!Ulquiorra is the one with the blue tearmarks, anime!Ulquiorra is the one with the green ones.
Seriously though, anime!Ulquiorra in the slap scene comes off as SUCH an asshole compared to manga!Ulquiorra, especially since the anime felt the need, for whatever reason, to cut out all the panels from the manga where you saw Ulquiorra's reaction to Orihime.
*sigh* The scene is about as UlquiHime as...well, it just isn't as UlquiHime as it was in the manga, to me. Don't get me wrong! I don't think for one second that Ulquiorra is all happy unicorns and rainbows, HOWEVER, he was never this cruel to Orihime. I would rant more about it, but I think I have ranted enough.
I actually had a different idea for the slap scene that I wanted as a comic, but I think it will have to wait a bit until I've calmed down.
TREA, apparently, does not approve anime!Ulquiorra's actions (or lack thereof).
