To answer William the Tree's question: They turned her into a glorified harlequin novel.

We already know that the puppies suffer thanks to the sparkling of Meyerpires, and we know that literature and vampires in general were not-so-nicely massacred along the way, but you know who we're forgetting? The TRUE victims of Twilight--the trees.

Think about it: they have to give up their lives (unwillingly, I might add) for this series, and what do they get in return? Well, they get turned into pages upon pages of over-the-top purple prose, no plot, and four of the most amazingly written pages in New Moon that reads as follows:

OCTOBER
NOVEMBER
DECEMBER
JANUARY

Nice writing there, SMeyer. God forbid you actually write out the pathos that Bella feels during this time of separation from her dear Eddiekins. That would be too much work, not to mention it might actually add some depth to her character.

Besides, who wants to see her pull herself out of her depression and move on with her life, make something out of herself? Psh!~ Load of rubbish, if you ask me.

Anyway, let us have a moment of silence for these forgotten victims. I pray that they will soon be in a better place than they are now.

(Side note: Darn it, Twilight! I wish I knew how to quit hating on you! :shakefist:)

Those Monsters!!! Of course, trees are okay with becoming great works of literature because they're getting chopped doen regardless so hoorah for an honorable burial. Twilight, naturally enough, doesn't qualify.

 It's a crying shame.

Life makes us realize there is nothing in the world truly perfect. But through that imperfection, we can find beauty.

Agreed oh so much. Twilight's more like an over-glorified fanfiction than a harlequin novel.

Execute the specific action you're curiously going out of your way to so strongly imply that you'll verily do, you homosexual.

LOL.
Poor trees.
Elizabeth could have at least been made into, like, a G.D. math book. Better fate than being Twilight. ._.

Exactly! Works like Pride and Prejudice or Little Women or, heck, even Hitchhiker Guide to the Galaxy = great literature. Twilight...not so much.

I don't know a lick about Twilight... But that tree looks so much like the one from Kirby!

Hey, not ALL fanfics are bad! xD Then again, not all Harlequin novels are bad either, I suppose.

I know, right? That, or a Psychology of Sexual Behavior text book. That would be awesome! :XD:
