EDIT: As of 2009, I have read 320 pages of Twilight (instead of the 10 that I had read before). I'm sure this will mean diddly to some people, but just...so you know, I DID try to get through this book.

I know, there are a lot of Anti-Twilight stamps out there, so why one more right? Well, none of them captured my true feelings for the series, as a result...this stamp was born.


I think a fair amount of my watchers already know my dislike of the series. But, you see, it's not that I HATE the series. If I did, then I would just put my fingers in my ears, go " LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU!", and avoid it like the plague.


The problem is I LOVE to hate Twilight. Complicated? Yes. But I'm a very complicated person, so there ya go.


And before anyone asks, because I'm sure they will, YES I did read (or at least try to read) the first book. I made it about 10 pages in before realizing that my textbooks for college were more interesting than Twilight. After that, I kind of skimmed the book. :shrug:

If you feel the need to flame, please do so, but just know that I'm NOT going to hide your comment. :paranoid: Remember, though, that I have the right to my opinion. If Twi-fans can post 100 stamps saying how much they love Twilight and how sexy Edward/Jacob is, then I can post this stamp.

Amen sister! 'faves' Read the book too, disliked it by chapter five- yes I got to chapter five. Seriously people, there are better authors out there. Don't be a slave to Twlight! Break away from the pack, try something new! -cough- God I sound like a cars salesmen.

That book hurts my brain with its utter blandness. It tried reading a couple of chapters, then went to summaries of the chapters, only because I wanted to know what the big hype was about. They made vampires BORING (not to mention sparkly). Sitting around in school, or driving around in crappy cars, talking tallking talking, oh Edwards so dreamy... BLAH. Even the trailer for the move makes me yawn. I'm suprised its not a WB teen drama tv show by now.

I read a lot of fantasy and horror books, and have seen a lot of vampire animes, all much more exciting and imaginative than Twilight.

You want a good (and unique) vampire book? Pick up "Dhampir" by Barb & J.C. Hendee. Its about a woman who is a vampire hunter... only she's been hunting fake vampires; she's a con artist that goes from village to village ridding them of a problem they never really had. Until one day she runs into a group of REAL vampires...

Although I like the book, the comments that people who dislike it make such awesome comments.

I read ALL of the books, hoping it would get better, but it ended up sucking a lot.
So I totally agree with this stamp, as I love to bash it too.

The only reason I read the first three is because I caved in from all my buddies that read that this was a supposedly awesome book, and I view it much like Halo. I have tried, and didn't like it at all. The only reason I got through the first three is because I was mildly curious is Edward did come back. I don't even remember what Full Moon or whatever the second one is about because it was mostly Beth or whatever her name is became a werewolf-fanatic who was attached to one guy and then become depressed when he pushes her away to deal with his own life.
And besides, who ever heard of "sparkly vampires"? I mean, c'mon! The vamps we've all grown to know (or atleast most people, Iunno) have been ones that burn in sunlight! If I was a vampire, I wouldn't want to go to school... I'd be out causing mass destruction! Who wouldn't?
